Ben predominantly works on the unceded lands of the Wurrundjeri and Bunurong.
He offers services in person at the Footscray and Travancore site, online via zoom and also offers outreach appointments within 10 kms of Footscray

Ben is an experienced and engaging provisional psychologist with many years of experience. He is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Crisis Intervention and Management Australia (CIMA). Ben has worked with a range of people across the lifespan and enjoys working with individuals, adolescents and children. He views counselling as a partnership where two or more people can come together and combine their unique skillsets to solve specific issues and improve well-being to ensure the best quality future for you.
Ben is dedicated to helping you to achieve your best possible outcomes. He engages with you by bringing his knowledge of the discipline and synthesizing it with the unique skills and strengths of the client to create the best plan of action to suit the specific needs of the client. He has been described as having a warm and friendly demeanour as well as being approachable and easy to talk to.
Ben utilizes a client-centred approach drawing on psychological theories such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT). He also brings his unique personal experiences as well as his training in biotechnology to form an understanding of the ways in which the mind and body interact. Ben views counselling as a partnership where two or more people can come together and combine their unique skillsets to solve specific issues and improve well-being to ensure the best quality future for the client.
