Chelsea Gokcay is a highly impactful and accomplished counsellor with many years of experience working with a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families both nationally and internationally.
Chelsea believes that everyone’s counselling support needs are different depending on each person’s circumstances and where they are in life. As a result, Chelsea approaches counselling with an open mind and utilises you and your own circumstances as a lens. She strongly believes that you are the expert in your own life and that you have the capacity to heal, grow and develop. Additionally, Chelsea is a very collaborative counsellor and tailors time together to support you and encourages feedback to build an alliance that is strong, compassionate, and useful.
Chelsea utilises a range of counselling techniques based on your needs—brainspotting, strengths-based methodologies, motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, mindfulness-based practices, DBT skills, attachment theory, narrative therapy and internal family systems.
Chelsea believes that accessing resiliency can be very difficult to do by yourself—and that is where her journey with you can begin to get you living a much more fulfilling life.
