Thalia works on the unceded lands of the Woiwurrung, Wurrundjeri and Bunurong peoples of the Kulin Nation.

Thalia is finishing up with TIF in June and therefore is not taking on any new participants.

As a member of the Australian Counselling Association, Thalia is a skillful and experienced counsellor in working with a range of people including adolescents, adults, and families. They work to create a safe and empowering environment for you through their collaborative and supportive approaches to therapeutic work.

As an empathetic and strength-based counsellor with a pragmatic perspective, they invite you to use counselling as a space to address the challenges that you are facing and the wounds you are looking at healing from. They have been described as approachable and purposeful, with a true desire to work with you in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.

Being personable is one of Thalia’s greatest assets in the counselling space, and they use a person-centred approach in sessions. They are able to draw upon several different counselling modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Compassion-Focused Therapy to tailor support that is specific and right for you. They do this in partnership with you and are guided by your experiences, goals, cultural contexts and capacity.

Thalia is aware that counselling comes with its own unique challenges, and is committed to making it an experience that feels supportive and encouraging for you either in person or online.
