Tom Fiebig

Social Work Student | He/Him/His

Tom works on the unceded lands of the Woiwurrung, Wurrundjeri and Bunurong people.

Tom is completing his placement with TIF in June 2024 after which he will be a qualified social worker

Tom is a master’s in social work student doing his final placement with TIF in the first half of 2024. He has experience working as a Data-Analyst and was a Support Coordinator for participants accessing funding through NDIS.

Tom is passionate about social justice and human rights and working in partnership with you to make meaningful change at an individual and structural level. As a white, cis-gender hetero male, he acknowledges his privilege and the intersecting oppressions experienced by members of LGBTIQA+ and Neurodivergent communities, especially by Refugees, Asylum Seekers, and forcibly displaced people.  He is committed to standing in solidarity with your struggles for liberation and supporting you in your journey to becoming your favourite selves. When he is not focused on his studies, Tom enjoys listening to music, playing the drums, and reading.
