AJ Gouws

They/Them

Participant Support Team Member

AJ supports people on the unceded lands of the Woiwurrung, Wurrundjeri and Bunurong people.

AJ (they/them) is a queer & non-binary admin enthusiast, who was born and raised in South Africa.

They are thrilled to be part of caring for the Iceberg Foundation collective* through their role in the Participant Support team. They have recently completed their Master of Theology from the University of Divinity, and have previously worked in fundraising and events for various not-for-profit organisations.

AJ brings their strong admin and organisational skills with their enthusiasm for connecting with people from all walks of life (their friends have described them as a Golden Retriever personality, which they humbly accept).

Outside of their professional world, AJ loves a good book, indie movies, an overly ambitious baking project, and spending quality time with their community.
