They/She
Manisha (they/she) is a queer Sri Lankan, Fijian-Indian non binary woman who was born and raised in Aotearoa New Zealand.
Raised in a bicultural haven, Manisha champions the belief that what's good for Māori is beneficial for all, a guiding principle intricately woven into their life and therapeutic practice. They're driven by a heartfelt commitment to decolonising therapy, Manisha envisions a therapeutic space where you thrive individually and collectively.
As a person-centred narrative therapist, their journey involves a constant dance of unlearning and relearning within a decolonised framework, reflecting their dedication to social justice and human rights advocacy.
Manisha has witnessed the transformative power of narratives and regards storytelling as a profound tool for healing and liberation. Recognising the significance of sharing your histories, herstories, and theirstories, they invite you to embark on a journey of crafting new narratives—stories of resilience and empowerment that resonate with the heartbeat of your unspoken experiences. In this warm therapeutic setting, Manisha provides a secure space for you to navigate the uncharted territories of your narratives, honouring the richness of those who came before and holding space for those yet to follow.
