Manaya Pride Program
Supporting the LGBTIQAP+ forcibly displaced communities
Manaya is Sanskrit for Celebration and To Celebrate.
At Manaya, we believe in witnessing, acknowledging, and celebrating the lived and living experiences of LGBTIQAP+ forcibly displaced people living on the unceded lands of First Nations peoples in so-called Australia. This includes refugees and asylum seekers who face unique challenges in accessing support.
We recognise the significant barriers LGBTIQAP+ forcibly displaced communities face in accessing mental health care and social support, and we are deeply committed to addressing these barriers wherever possible.
We walk alongside these communities, offering therapeutic support and social inclusion programs designed to nurture mental health and wellbeing.
