FAQs
-
“DnD, or Dungeons and Dragons, is an immersive tabletop roleplaying game set in a fantasy world of magic, myth and monsters. Players take on the role of heroic adventurers, who defeat evil foes, solve riddles, & explore ancient ruins to gain fame and fortune and to save the innocent. With only a handful of dice and your imagination, your group will create a fantastic story together, guided by the Dungeon Master”
-
“Therapeutic DnD is a method for taking the narrative, imaginative and social elements of a tabletop roleplaying game and applying them to a player’s mental health situation. The game allows scenarios of therapeutic value to be played out safely and with support, and helps the player try out new techniques for handling issues of concern. In a group of players with similar goals, therapeutic DnD offers a flexible tool for helping people find confidence, navigate stress and target specific issues in a fun, collaborative way.”
